The EU funded project AWAY aimed to ensure that multidisciplinary professionals are more aware and better equipped concerning diversion for arrested/suspected children.
As an independent consultant for Terre des hommes, I compiled and drafted the final internal report of the project.
The outputs of the AWAY project included an overview of diversion practices in Hungary, Belgium, Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania.
Led by Terre des hommes Regional Office in Hungary in partnership with Defence for Chil- dren International (DCI, Belgium), International Juvenile Justice Observatory (IJJO, Belgium), Program for the Development of the Judicial System in Bulgaria (PDJS, Bulgaria), Brave phone (Croatia), PILNET (Hungary), Pressley Ridge (Hungary) and Terre des hommes Fundatia Helvetia (Romania).
